Aroma AMC-130

The Aroma AMC-130 is a pot-style multicooker and rice cooker featuring an adjustable temperature control dial with Low, Medium, and High settings (150-200°F, 250-300°F, 450-500°F respectively). It includes a removable nonstick cooking pot and grill pan, a tempered glass lid with a steam vent, and a cool-touch base. The appliance is designed for cooking rice, sautéing, grilling, simmering, and stewing. It operates on 120V AC power and features a polarized plug. It is intended for countertop use only and is not designed for deep frying.

Cooking Pot Not Heating Up

The cooking pot does not heat up when the appliance is turned on.

Solutions:

Ensure the cooking pot is placed correctly on the base and there is no food residue. Remove the grill pan; it should not be used simultaneously with the cooking pot.

Food Burning

Food is burning during cooking.

Solutions:

Reduce the temperature setting or cooking time.

Indicator Light Cycles On/Off

The indicator light cycles on and off during operation.

Solutions:

This is normal operation; the light cycles to maintain the set temperature.

Pot or Grill Pan Warping/Deformation

The cooking pot or grill pan is warped or deformed.

Solutions:

Do not use the cooking pot or grill pan on a stovetop or burner.

Steam Venting Excessively

Excessive steam is escaping from the steam vent.

Solutions:

Ensure the lid is securely in place. Reduce the amount of liquid used.

Unit Will Not Turn On

The appliance does not power on when plugged in.

Solutions:

Try plugging the appliance into a different electrical circuit.

Wet Pot/Pan Causes Malfunction

The appliance malfunctions when the cooking pot or grill pan is wet.

Solutions:

Ensure the outside of the cooking pot or grill pan is completely dry before use.
