Aroma ARC-368NG

The Aroma ARC-368NG is a digital rice and grain multicooker designed for cooking rice, grains, and other meals. It features a non-stick inner pot, a tempered glass lid with cool-touch handles, and indicator lights for cook and warm functions. The cooker operates with a simple one-touch operation, automatically switching to a warm mode after the cooking cycle is complete. It includes a rice measuring cup and serving spatula. The maximum capacity is 8 cups of uncooked rice (6 cups brown rice), yielding 16 cups cooked rice (12 cups brown rice). It also supports soup cooking.

Cooker not operating

Cooker does not turn on or heat up.

Solutions:

Ensure the cooker is plugged into a functioning 120V AC outlet on a dedicated circuit. Check the power cord for damage and replace if necessary. Contact customer service for repair.

Food burns

Food is burning during cooking.

Solutions:

Add more liquid, adjust cooking settings, and reduce cooking time. Stir food occasionally during cooking.

Inner pot damage

The inner pot is damaged or deformed.

Solutions:

Do not use the inner pot on a stovetop or burner. Replace the inner pot if damaged.

Rice too dry/hard after cooking

Rice is dry, hard, or chewy when the cooker switches to warm.

Solutions:

Add 1 cup of water, stir thoroughly, and resume cooking. Repeat until rice is soft and moist.

Rice too moist/soggy after cooking

Rice is still too moist or soggy when the cooker switches to warm.

Solutions:

Stir rice with serving spatula to redistribute moisture. Allow cooker to remain in warm mode for 10-30 minutes, stirring periodically.

Steam vent obstruction

Steam is not escaping properly from the vent.

Solutions:

Carefully clean the steam vent to remove any obstructions.

Unit malfunctions

The unit is not functioning as expected.

Solutions:

Contact Aroma customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
