Aroma ART-712SB

Cooking Pan Wet When Starting

The cooking pan is wet when placed in the roaster.

Solutions:

Ensure the outside of the enameled cooking pan is completely dry before use. Moisture can cause malfunction.

Defrost Function Not Working

The oven does not thaw frozen foods.

Solutions:

Ensure temperature dial is set to 'Defrost', Allow sufficient defrosting time.

Food Not Cooking Evenly

Uneven cooking or hot spots within the oven.

Solutions:

Use roasting rack, Reduce amount of food, Adjust temperature setting.

Food Stains on Cooking Pan

Stubborn food stains remain after washing.

Solutions:

Soak pan in 4 cups of hot water for 30 minutes before washing. Avoid cooking highly acidic foods.

Heat Indicator Light Stays On

The heat indicator light remains illuminated continuously.

Solutions:

Allow sufficient preheating time, Increase temperature setting.

Oven Not Heating

The oven does not turn on or heat up.

Solutions:

Ensure power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet, Check and reset circuit breaker, Turn temperature control dial to desired temperature.

Oven Overheating

The oven gets excessively hot.

Solutions:

Remove any metal foil, Ensure oven is at least 4 inches away from walls and flammable objects.

Power Cord Damage

The power cord is frayed or damaged.

Solutions:

Do not use the oven. Contact Aroma customer service for repair or replacement.

Smoke or Odor During First Use

Smoke or unusual odor emitted during initial operation.

Solutions:

Operate oven at 400°F for 30 minutes to burn off residue, Ensure adequate ventilation.
