Ash Tray Difficult to Remove

Ash tray is stuck and hard to pull out

Solutions:

Ensure ash is completely cool, gently rock the tray, clean corrosion with a wire brush

Assembly Difficulties

Unable to properly assemble the chiminea

Solutions:

Verify all parts are present, re-read assembly instructions carefully

Chiminea Overheats

Chimney or firebox becomes excessively hot

Solutions:

Reduce fuel load, only use approved fuels (wood/heat logs)

Chiminea won't light

No flame despite attempting to ignite fuel

Solutions:

Use dry wood, ensure ash vent is clear, try a different ignition method

Solutions:

Use dry wood, reduce fuel load, check and clear chimney

Heat Shield Loose

Heat shield rattles or feels unstable

Solutions:

Tighten bolts, replace damaged bolts

Powder Coating Damage

Solutions:

Avoid contact with abrasive materials, use gentle cleaning methods

Rain Cover Doesn't Fit Securely

Rain cover is loose or doesn't align with the chimney

Solutions:

Re-check assembly instructions, ensure prongs are correctly positioned, replace rain cover if damaged

Rusting Steel Components

Visible rust on steel parts

Solutions:

Cover chiminea when not in use, apply rust-resistant coating

Unstable Chiminea

Chiminea wobbles or feels unsteady

Solutions:

Place on a level surface, tighten all bolts
